is the weight really an issue for the right shoulder?

i'm looking to getting this bag for a trip to Goldcoast with my wife and kids next month and i need something that will help me get to my camera body fast for quick snaps... is there really much space in the rest of the compartments?

i've got to put other stuf inside as well... like umbrella... wallet, maps... passport... you know... the travelling-with-family stuff...

You can basically forget abt stuffing other things inside unless they are around the size of your palm (so passport, wallet can)

I can stuff in my 350D with a 75-300 IS attached and 4 other lens with the usual cleaning equipment. To others who say it's unstable when running, that's because you did not use the other clip to stabilise the bag. It can be very snug...

Very useful cos you can just bring out the cam straight from the bag and shot on the fly, though changing lens on the fly can be very challenging...

hmm... it looks more and more appealing... was looking for a top load when i stumbled on this... i'll be just bringing my 350d with 28-105 attached... still considering whether to bring my tokina 80-400... its heavy and if i'm gonna trek the whole day outdoors with the kids then may not want to overload this bag... maybe just a 20mm.. the top compartment looks handy for the misc stuff like diapers and wipes... slightly bigger than a palm?

Have to highlight that long "L" lenses can't fit...

You can reconfigure your bag slightly...

Still managed to squeeze in a 80-200 F/2.8 (un-mounted though)

i got mine beginning of this week.. i like it.. takes a little getting used-to... but overall its okay... it can fit my Tokina 80-400 attached to 350d body.. it would seem that if you added the battery grip, the height will be just nice...
