LOWEPRO Bags Price Lists (Singapore) 2009

CP Penin usually gives a 50% discount on the LowePro bags. At least, that's what I always get. Bot many LowePro stuff from them already and seems like the 50% off is the norm. Doesn't matter which sales person attends to me too.....

Which colour did you choose? I was also there today ard 5pm, wanted the red colour one but no stock, they quoted me S$145 leh.

Will be going down this Thursday because I ask them to reserve one for me, should I bargain for the same price??

Bought this not too long ago and the price was only $130 then.

Anyone can shed a light on the repricing upwards ? Canon and Nikon repricing down but Lowepro is gg up ?

You could try TK Photo as well. They have a pretty good range of Lowepro and someone on CS recommended me there. The prices seems better, but do get some research done on the specific bag you're interested in. I think CP and TK Photo gives the best prices so far for Lowepro stuff.

All I did was step into the shop and ask them immediately for the Lowepro Flipside 400 AW and Flipside 300 bags for comparison.

I had already done my research on the price and so I knew that the $161 quoted was a good price.

Maybe it helped that I've got a really cheerful face? hee hee

But seriously, I made it a point to give the salesman who attended to me the impression (just drop casual hints lah!) that I was really knowledgeable about photographic equipment. I find that doing so helps you to get a really good price from not just CP but from other camera shops as well, even in SLS. The logic being that if they believe that you have XP with cameras, they'll think twice about quoting you a "tourist" price at the start.

I sold mine flipside 300 red (mint) condition ard 90 buck some time ago for flipside 400. no regret...

flipside 400 AW is really a good buy.

Sadly Vertex 200 AW is no longer been sold off shelves. Would getting at CompuTrekker Plus AW is a more advisabel think to get since I'm lugging my MacBookPro to Shanghai this december? Anyone Advise?

I got the Computrekker AW (No plus) a couple of months back and it's definitely very useful. The plus was a little too large for me and I am 1.78m at 73kg. Not big by any means but you might want to decide when you check that out.

Final load on my Computrekker AW came up to 11kg+ loaded with 1 x 12.1" Notebook + 1 x body + 5 x lens + 1 x flashgun + 5 x Cokin P type filters + thin files (for work) + other small assorted items in the front pocket (Spare batteries, cleaning kit blah blah blah).

Would encourage you to get this but watch the weight vs the items you wanna carry...
