Congrats on surviving your maiden trip to India.:thumbsup: I think you did pretty well. :bsmilie:
Loved some of your pics - the ones taken during the evening prayer were shot from a vantage point. How did you manage to sneak in there ?
Pity you lost your tripod. Why didn't you handcarry it ? I always handcarry my tripod - never faced a problem. You would've got much better night and early morning shots if only you had the tripod with you. Never mind, lesson learnt.
Some of your candid shots are keepers, as the more experienced folks have already commented.
Did you change lenses out in the open ? You said you shot only with your kit lens. But then, I see dust spots in some of your photos shot with low apertures.
This is my major gripe about DSLRs - dust on the sensors ruins our photos. :cry:

This shot is in Allahabd, India..( we were there for 10 days - 4 places...hehe..).
you went their with fellow clubsnappers? Your tour-guide sure know their places around : )

thank you..) we no have tour-guide. One of the clubsnapper managed to get the boatman to row us out to the river to take pixs (not cheap too)..
Btw, one very weird incident....in the middle of Ganges River overseeing the festival, in the middle of the river, there is a portion where pple can step out of the sampan and walk on the water surface. One of our clubsnapper did that...
Like those in Kungfu show ...in fact there was a small reef just 2cm beneath water....
so when he walk on it...he looked like he walked on water. should have taken a photo...:sweatsm:

walked on water...no ahh...
1. COld cold cold - its freezing there
2. Walk, boots kana water, difficult to dry..
3. Wait blur blur me walk on water, i walk into hollow, fall into deep water, i sink (heavy boots heavy winter wear, camera sink, scare scare...!!!
the colorful ones are at Clark Quay...they are better than my India ones and taken before I go india).chiam right..

Erhh...i think the originals not bad lah..
I have been wearing them for some time liao.
My Mom (70years old) has flat feet/soles, I bought her one (original) to try, and she finds it very comfortable and walks easier (no pain liao)..
well, that comfying and worthwhile my $ lor.
Other than that, erhh..colour lose to those fakey ones..hahaha :sweatsm:
