Nice capture of the atmosphere.

It is in Varanasi, where the place was believed when pple died, the body get "burnt" and buried by the river, they will go to heaven. The Ganga River is their Holy River.

This was a night ritual...like a prayer to the Ganga river. Many devotees gathered to watch it..

The "ritual boys" are facing the river, just in front of them.
so u notice my positions are at the same place...
cos Me one more step to the right, and I will fall into the river below ...hehe....

Yes, I also believe you managed to capture the atmosphere and all the pics have feel. I feel like I'm in India with you. Just need to improve on the technical aspects and you'll become a pro in no time ~ I've seen photos by others which are very good technically but their pictures no feel at all~
