I really understand the suggestions. But i really need to know that, how will i understand actually the problem is in lens of camera's sensor? Is there any technique to understand it?

A sensor is not like a magnetic tape or old-style film where it degrades like that over time. You almost certainly have fungus on the lens, and you MAY have fungus or just dirt on the sensor. A flashlight and reading your manual will help here.

Or just send to CSC and tell them you want the lens and sensor checked for fungus.

Easiest way to check if it's the lens? Try a different lens.

These are the basics of elimination and logic that is taught in primary school leh...

Think about it. Your TV remote stops working. How to you know if it's the batteries or the remote? You use different batteries first...

Fungus. And I think your sensors might have either some dust balls or is infected too..

From the photo, it should be fungus. I suggest that you send it to CSC for checking asap.

So, what you all suggest after see the two images? will i buy a new 18-55mm lens or is it repairable??? and after cleaning the sensor, can i get sharp outputs as it was new...???

Can you tell me the cost to service both??? I'll go CSC, surely... Im really upset very much. Im not ready to buy new Canon lens.

You have ALREADY been told SEVERAL TIMES that the servicing fees are on the CSC website, and that you can ask them for a quotation first. Don't be stubborn, GO TO CSC AND ASK FOR YOURSELF!!

One other thing: It's almost impossible for fungus on the lens to show up on a picture. It looks like the fungus has infected one of the filter element on the sensor itself. We definitely cannot advise what the cost would be in this case, you REALLY need to go to CSC and ask for yourself. Get a quotation first. If they want to charge more than 500, you might as well just get a 2nd hand "clean" 1000D or other camera from the buy and sell section.

i don know where you come from, and it may be that fungus are unheard of at that part of the world but if you are going to stay in SG, i suggest a dry cabinet or dry box. Else this problem is just going to be recurring..,
