oooh so i got it wrong again... its that statement, I willingly take it back and say sorry for photographers that respect their arts.
Unfortunately I have not come across one commercial photographer that earn my respect lor, and for me, their charges are really not justifiable. Okay dun flame me for this, I just wan to view my persoanl thoughts only!!!

Actually, it can be quite educational for students. Can I bring a class of 20 students and then teach them while the wedding is going on??
Look at it this way, you get 20 creative students taking from 20 angles!
But of course you will need to forgive them if they do not live up to your expectations....they are after all students.
Teacher: "Alright class, right now the MUA is applying the typical Spore style of makeup. You can choose to use a low F to isolate that interesting crop of hair, the messy bed would then be blurred into a nice bokeh..."
Students goes "Ah....." *Snap* *snap* *snap*
Ah Mao: " 'cher what is a crop of hair and what is a bokeh and what is a F??"
Teacher: "RTFM kid!"

why can't people flame your personal thoughts?
makes me wonder how much u actually tried to look. there're quite a handful here in cs that produces great pictures. i dont know how much it takes to earn your respect, but my opinion is that you should at least place your pride on par with the quality of work you yourself can produce, which, honestly, isnt enought to earn one-tenth the people here's respect.
Must be trusting, as long as one put effort into his/her project, I do not believe the output can be so bad, out of 1000 photos, one or two pictures will at least be good right?

Don't mean to be rude, but since you are looking for highly enthusiatic free photographers why not turn it into a more fun and interesting wedding event for all the photogrers here?
Perhaps you can make it into a relay shoot, and invite all interested photogers to the shoot.
Maybe 2 photogers shoot for 1hr, follow by another 2photogers...all the way till the end of the wedding. If it's a 10 hrs event, you can open it to 20 photogers. That way, every photoger will be creative and energetic since it's only 1 hr no strings attached, trigger happy free shoot. If every photoger shoots 60 photos in their 1 hr slot, you can walk away with 1200 photos (60 x 20).
Since it's free, you may like to offer them the right to use it for portfolio too. Just a thought....

Clown is right, I do not produce any quality photos, but why should I go around hoping to bump into good photographers on purpose, very tiring, I just referring to my encounters in other events. Thats why I post this to see who got a simple but determined mindset waiting to try out.
