WHAT! $100 also can take wedding photo.Like that I sure faint beside you.If someone ask anyone of you can take wedding photo for just $50/-.:kok: :kok:

nothing new, i heard of photographers who do a full day event for $150 + only....then again, it is their loss, when the person cannot do it, they will come to me to cover and i charge at least 3 X $150...hehe...

end of the day, we still have our cliente...so relax lah pple..

better don't, if you don't know these photographers well, why risk you own reputation?

if the couple are lucky, get a good one, they may not come and thank you.
if the couple are very unlucky, the photographer MIA, or the photos CMI, they sure will come and find you, mention your name all day long in every forums that they can find.

We have hear enough of these, so many hit and run cases.

Everybody starts off somewhere... You cant just newly break into the market and want to charge 200/hr right? I am sure all of you climbed your way from a lower payscale...

The recent AD (10+ hours) I covered (u can find some pictures in the other sub-forum), nett profit was like less than a $100. But I'm not complaining, why? Because I've never covered as main before (only as 2nd) so this is an opportunity for me. Secondly, I just took it as a chance to build up my portfolio. Zero proper portfolio prior to this. Couple knows this. Price agreeable to all. So yep.

It's not that I do not value my work. I do. Nor am I so desperate to stoop to making just a $100, I'm not, photography isn't my job at all. I've got a decent-paid fulltime job.

Maybe I should up my charges eh? ;p :bsmilie:
