looking for rf:)

i am looking for a rf as a gift for my friend. want it to be in good workable condition, no need interchangable lens, but a fast one, something like the olympus XA maybe, very handy, the budget is below 50 dollars. hope someone can help me. please leave your reply on this thread. thanks

Below 50 very difficult. Available also may not be in workable condition and fast. Your best chance should be in WTB. See any good soul will like to help.

theres only 1 camera that you can consider.. the XA is not 1 of them because collectors and users alike have raised the prices of this tiny cam.

However the olympus stylus epic/mju II is still relatively affordable. I got mine at 40 dollars off someone at yahoo auctions so you might wanna try there.. But nowadays you can get one ranging from $50-75. So snoop around. Its mostly automated.. but the pic quality when it does take good pictures is GREAT

Hi, thank you very much for your kind replies.
I have posted a thread on WTB, hopefully someone can offer something.
and the reason i posted here was because i thought here are all the rangfinder lovers who will be coming

in fact i own a FED3, bought from a friend from this forum too. it works well and i love shooting with it.

I think this might be a better place to reply. You might want to check ebay out first. It's a bit hard to find these rangefinders in Singapore. Not unless you try Cash Converters.

if you really need to get an rf i suggest increasing your budget abit to maybe below 100 ..
its abit difficult to get a working condition rf below 50 ... also you could try your luck at sungai road.. some of my friends managed to get some fairly good condition rf for ard 20 dollars..
