Hi guys, my school is considering hiring videographer(s) to record a song and dance competition on 10th May 730 pm - 10 30pm. Venue has yet to be confirmed but it would take place at a proper concert hall e.g. SOTA concert hall. Editing is needed, I am hoping to produce something like a DVD recording of a live concert. The deadline for the final product is not too urgent, perhaps a couple of weeks after the event.
As we are still at initial planning stage, I need some rough quotation so that we can decide whether or not to hire videographers.
Budget: not finalised, you just give me your rate based on the duration and expected product mentioned. Based on my inexperience, I am looking at not more than $1000?
Equipment: Again I am inexperienced with videography, don't need many video cameras to capture different angles. As this is a song and dance competition, at least a good microphone to capture the singing clearly.
Other requirements: Preferably able to bill through e-invoice to the school directly. Freelancers you have to register yourself in GeBiz or something to settle the bill through e-invoice. We do not pay through cash or cheque directly to you. If you have experience in such events it would be an advantage (good to show samples).
