Hi,
Any recommendation on which photography shop to shop around?
I like to get a few accesories for my P&S digicam.
Any shop selling cheap and quality product?
I've been to Cathay Photos..

Thanks.

Then you have already been to one of the reliable ones, others are: MS-Color (near Ang Mo Kio MRT station, friendly people), Lords (friendly people too, get Mr Chee or David, 1st floor Luckt Plaza: I urge you to ONLY visit THIS shop at Luckt Plaza! Do not enter others there!), Alan Photo (Sim Lim Sqaure and now at Funan too), good luck!

Love from HK

Actually still tink CP the best liao...last time call Sim Lim AP check price of dry cabinet..den when I go down Funan AP, I was told an higher price...thought should be same price even though different branch....but in the end I purchase from John 316 liao..

Tink CP and John still the better shops in Spore...any other recommendations?? :)

McDonalds at different places also charging different price.

u might wanna pop over TK Foto @ Shaw Tower Beach Rd level 2 and take a look... their prices are quite attractive as well.. :)

cheers..

My recommendation: Alan Photo, MS color, Cathay Photo. Prices are reasonable.

Best to call each shop and check. You'd never know which shop is offering a promotion/discount that's unadvertised. In general, the price difference can be quite big for the higher-end items, which are typically not as competitively priced. ;p

Sometimes it's because of convenience, other times stock, ocassionally price. But if all things are equal. I buy in the order below.

Lords
TCW
TK Foto
Cathay

Shops that I spit at and will never spent a cent (again).

Alan Photo
K-13
The bunch of other Sim Lim Sq shops trying to change their image.

Extremely bad experience. Besides their prices are not any better then the first few mentioned. K-13 in my opinion should be painted black in colour and have the word 'KILL' painted on their front door.

anyone can provide me the details of lords? like their phone number?

thanks.

Hi guys,

Can we make this thread into a sticky, cos i am a newbie and the shops that you guys mentioned are often seen at other threads, makes alot of difference for newbies who are not too familiar with good camera shops.

I've also made a similar request at newbies entry.

Thanks!

Cathay Photo

Actually I am looking for Achiever 115A/S slave flash. I've send quotation email to Cathay Photos, but they said they don't have stock. They quote me Sunpak Remote Lite II w/bracket @ S$50.00 (Currently no stock). I dunno about that flash. But I didn't asked about Achiever 115A/S..but I think should be no stock too. Any other shop who sells range of flash to recommend (preferable those with email)?
