Hi all,

We are currently working on the second season of a Suria drama for Mediacorp titled "Bingit" and are looking for malay owned flats to film in. We will require a flat for a day of shoot (exact time and date to be determined).

The shoot will be from 10th July to 27th August. And a total of 8 episodes will be shot. For each episode, we will require 2 to 3 houses to film in.

There will be a form of compensation and credit mention for those who are willing to loan out their house. Rates will be between $100 to $200, depending on the duration.

If interested, please contact me at 97487387. Thank you very much!

Sincerely,
Vanessa

Can use a Chinese home instead.

I've visited both Malay homes and Chinese homes. All use European highend furnitures. No difference.

Hmmm.... for that kind of compensation, there's little incentive for people to deal with the inconvenience for 'a day of shoot'.
Your best bet may be to ask people involved in the production to reach out to their friends/relatives, who may be more inclined to help.

You are lucky that Mediacorp doesn't ask you to open up your home to them to shoot for free. :bsmilie:

Can one even check into Hotel 81 with only just S$100? Not to mention the possible loss of income (for those kuih making homeowners), inconvenience cost, entertainment / transportation expenses, utilities expenses. Exclusive production rights for filming of interior design etc. etc.

I say either S$888, a MBS suite for a day or both should suffice.

Its possible that MediaCorpse is paying $888 (or $444 :bsmilie:), and OP is just an 'agent'

In that case I suggest that TS should buy a straw mat for $20 and shoot the scene in a void for free and pocket the $860.

Maybe if she is kind enough she may want to buy all those who have provided brilliant suggestions here chicken rice? :bsmilie:

$100-200? Definitely not my house..try your luck on your crew's house & see if they are willing for that rate, though I seriously doubt..
