Looking for kakis to learn and practice videography

I would be interested... I am planning to make shorts for video contests which are open for international participants.... Gives me context to write a plot and film it.... I know the first video might be really bad but practice makes perfect plan to make more and more

I have an idea which is do a video blog how we as hobbyist use our skill to help others. There are two parts. One is to use video help others. Example we can make adverising video for small business that are not doing well. It can also be using video to help someone who need monetary help from public.

Second part is to do a documentary on how we help the business or people.

Well I can help you out with your video blog.. But as I am new to video I am afraid I won't be much help to make any "how to".... Regarding corporate stuff I think you to prove yourself first to get such a jig... If you have something I am happy to help... Would be a fun learning exp...

@simpleneasy - how about setting up a kopi session first for all interested to meet up, know more about each other and exchange contacts. perhaps a 2-hour sit down session will see ideas sparking here and there

hi, i'd love to join in but next weekend's going to be tough for me. was hoping it'd be this weekend (coz free"er") hehe ... anyway, will see when's the next coffee / collaboration outing then i come along. i can probably do weekdays evenings for (chit chat) as well but i think harder to match others' times for weekdays evenings

I'd definitely be down! I have some background in film production - I studied cinematography in New York for a year and I've done pretty much every production position in the book (DP, gaffer, lighting technician, PA, AD, writing, directing, art direction) and I'd love to get back into any kind of production. I'm a stay-at-home mom but weekday evenings work especially well for me
