Hi,

I have contacted the shortlisted photographers with details.

Thanks for your interest.

Calling all shortlisted photographers,
Has the TS contacted you?

well obviously I am not one the shortlisted.

Bro your website needs to have some changes i feel. Biggest problem is your tiltviewer is super distracting and difficult to navigate. I don't think clients would like to see using that, why not just use a simple format that is clean and works?

well you're obviusly not my client . . .hahaha

Thank you so much for the advise. . . .altho I never asked for it.

Well TS I hope you got your photographer- I guess I didnt get the job cos my website sux. . .. .. .

Happy?

I have to agree with some of the photographers here. I believe nobody's targetting at your website or doubting your experience. Personally I do admire and respect your 10 years in profession but I guess we have to watch out for complacency like what I believe budbudcat pointed out.

It might be good at times to ponder over what should ultimately be a professional's point of view and behaviour toward the photographic realm. We're all learning everyday, and we're all fellow shooters. No point nursing grudges or anything.

Happy shooting, and of cos, all the best in future assignments.

Joehani...i'm sure you're experienced enough in this biz to understand that first impressions are very important, personality and attitude.

from your replies in this Services Wanted Subforum, it obviously didn't give me a good impression in the point of view of an employer. When I interview for my assistants, I look through their posts and also how they conduct themselves.

I'm convinced that budbudcat tried to give his opinion in a amicable manner. However you took it to heart with your following replies. And Sprintist gave his rightful opinion too. You should've taken the criticisms with a pinch of salt and see how you can improve from there.

I also saw your reply to Jing's thread looking for a driver to assist him

Johani: "I like Recon work, can I apply. Do you have any applicants yet. I assume the driver also need to have a camera right? Else not sure if this is a correct forum right?"

If an assistant is allowed to shoot while assisting on a job, its considered a bonus...definitely not an entitlement. So if camera is not allowed you gonna sabo your own tradesman and report his thread? My assistants only need to carry my bags and equipments and never required to shoot. However when I feel there is something they can learn. I would let them take a few shots and offer some advice.

No one is going to take pity on those who try so hard to show that they are desperate. Especially at bad times like now. What's your will be yours.

The OT shall stop here.

cant believe that when people is here helping u commenting and giving some useful comments for u to improve on and yet u block them off like u are god. 3 words.. wtf. :S

No comments.. Just cool it guys... Its over... lor... -peace-
