Hi guys.

I am looking for someone to operate the camera for a wedding dinner next Sept 23. I will provide the lights and setup. The photographer just needs to come with his dSLR and lenses. I will even provide the memory card, so it's just shoot and return me the cards.

It'll be a 4 hour dinner from 6pm to 10pm.

My budget for this easy position is S$150.

Interested applicants please PM me. I will respond to shortlisted candidates and close this thread once I find someone.

ok some comments...

1. camera operator sounds wrong.
2. your requirement looks weird, it looks like someone hired you to do the photoshoot job and you are now outsourcing to another person to do the job while you claim those shots as yours.

Because you are neither looking for a main photographer nor 2/3 photographer. And you also dun sound like this is your own wedding. Pardon me but you just sounds very much like what I described in 2.

sept 23 ??
i think u come in Aug 2011 .. cos there will be more camera operators
becos the current camera operators will be pro liao :bsmilie:

What kind of lights and set-up are you referring to?

Is it a fixed set-up where guests get seated at your 'set-up' where your lights are at for a snap shot and move on? (this is assuming you are referring to studio lights) Please advise.

I wonder how many shots is expected from this gig ?

The photographer doesn't get to keep the shots for his own portfolio? How does the crediting work here?

Very dubious thread. :thumbsd:

Hi all,

Sorry if this thread appears dubious to anyone. That was not my intention. Also, this is not an outsourced job that I got from other people. I am commisioning and paying for this job.

Essentially, this is a quick and easy job for those who want fast cash for minimal work. If the requirements are insulting to anyone here, I apologize in advance.

To those who PM-ed me but I haven't reply, sorry for the delay. But as some of you suggested, maybe looking next August may be a better idea. Thanks for the suggestions.

as 2100 has already pointed out, Sept 23 2011 is a hot date for wedding, whoever take up this job now at your suggested rate most probably will be regretted by than if he become more pro, or maybe already quit freelancing by that time.

since your budget and terms are not that attractive, doesn't need a competent photographer as the way you put it. Hence it is more practical to look for "camera operator" at much nearer date, perhaps you will able to few more people keen to make some quick buck when the day draw near.
