Hi Guys

Starting to look for wedding photographers..but a slightly peculiar requirement here..i.e. I need people who seldom use flash..as I blink terribly under flash..
So this also requires the wedding photog to be using systems which excel in low noise..or who loves shooting with primes...i.e. canon systems (particularly 5D, or 1D series) or wedding photog using S5pro etc..
Pls feel free to pm your website portfolios, links, rates etc etc..
Date of wedding is not set yet, but will most likely be this year.
There will be a church wedding, the usual tea ceremony and another dinner at typical ballroom.
Thanks in advance!

CONGRATS!

UPz for you!

Bro,

Congrats on getting married!!!

I think you should have dat "someone" in mind but I do not know if he is still available for this year.

UPZ!

Must use canon or s5pro huh

Get Kelvin Koh. Period.

hey thanks everyone..yeah kelvin koh tops of shortlist ..but fees also tops...me poor man only..sigh..
Heres a big thank you to some bros who have pmed..for the rest, do let me know as well..Cheers!

Haha..not must la..but highly prefered, especially since I would need most shots without flash..in terms of low noise performance, i only trust the canon and s5pro..coz i have used all 3 systems before and know their strengths..and weaknesses..

Only canon users? o.O y primes? primes seems unconvenient for wedding photography....

not a must to use primes..but i would hope the photog can use primes more coz primes is outstanding in available light photog..most of times, f2.8 just cant quite cut it..

congrats bro on your coming big day ...... :)

you need to chill out ... you sound like you are shooting your OWN wedding ... if you must choose a photog, learn to trust him/ her and their camera gear (of cos, no newbies la).. or you will never be enjoying your big day ....you will be asking yourself constantly .. y is he using flash ? y is he NOT taking from that angle ? y is he taking that angle..the list goes on

2 names come into mind ... WILL03 for CANON and JOHO for the other .... of cos, there are 'cheaper' alternatives ..there are many 5D users out there lately.... 'tinydot' is good too ???

relax..and enjoy your BIG day, dude ..and all the best in your search too ! ;)

Get a good photographer and you don't have to worry abt the technical stuff. Check out Yu Hsin. ;)

Thanks AhV, Eugene and pianodancer...good reminder on tinydot..have never taken a closer look on his photography before, and I must say I like it :) :)

Eh i just met u recently and u didnt tell me?????:what:

congrats novello76! Think what AhV said is true...once you decide on a photographer you like, let him/her worry about shooting your wedding, else you won't enjoy it - and when you don't enjoy it, you just won't look good on the photos :)

I hear my name being mentioned...thanks AhV, eugene...sorry to crash your thread :P
