Couple is on budget constraint.

I already told them that it's very difficult to find budget one.

I posted this ad before last time and they got lots of replies but they told me expensive, I almost fell off the chair. (I thot CS got lots of competitively-priced wedding passionate photogs?! )

So, until now, they haven't found their budget photographer and they asked me to look for one for them again.

As far as I know, they are nice persons.

budget at 1st priority, photo quality become secondary.
simply translate into: "as long it is cheap, best is get it free, any type of photos can do, as long got images can already."

hope they will not fell off the chair when they see their own wedding day photos, if they only look at the price tag only.

nice persons it is not a excuse, ask them would them want to work for one month just to get paid for one week salary or not?

ben, to be even more blunt, photo quality not even secondary. it becomes "as long as got photographer at the wedding can already". if the photos don't turn out nice, put all the blame on the photographer.

at the end of the day, this couple's friends, family and relatives will have a very hard time being able to trust photographers if the photos don't come out well.

once, i answered one of ur ads too, not this one. when i told them $300 (they also on a budget) for just CD, they emailed me back saying they got a fren to do the same thing for free. so, i left it as dat.

perhaps, for the sake of all those interested, do find out their budget, as DCA suggested. at least both parties will do into this deal with their eyes open. i dun think anyone in CS will like to see yet another "my lousy photographer gave me lousy wedding pics thread" some weeks after the wedding.

of course, there is no guarantee dat high-priced photography will give u good pics either.

that's actually okay if the thread gets up because it brings their plight known to the masses. it also brings out all the complains that folks here want to add.

you can complain all you want but there will always be such couples.

not defending them or anything but some couples ARE putting their money in all the wrong places. just for example: buying extra prints from the studio session. each print cost about $65 to $120 depending on size and quantity they buy.

actually if you look at weddings from our parents and grand parents, they only have two photos from the studio. the wall print and table top. i still get a kick out of looking at the wedding day album.

Paul, you should be in a better position to advise your friends on this. There are many $300 fullday AD photographers. If your friends even find this rate expensive, I think you should advise them to start looking for friends/relatives to take snapshots for them already?
