Looking for a part time photographer for product photography

Hi,

Looking for freelance photographer to conduct full day 8 hours of product (sports equipment) photography in studio on an adhoc as per required basis - usually 3-6 days per month. Prefer someone with experience handling studio lights and light stands and has past experience in studio product photography.

This is paid job ($10-15p/hr) and camera & lens, studio setup all will be provided.

YinChu could you answer a few questions which may help you get the person you need.

1. what is the studio set up you are providing - power of lights how many lights how big studio, color of walls ? How big is the equipment you want to get shot - a racket and a high end gym exerciser, a trampoline, a kyak are all sport equipment.

2. what make and model of camera plus what lens are you providing.

3. what do you need to the photos for - print media, on line website use, rotating view visual, wall mural ? Different usage requires different approach to optimize image quality.

4. How do need the photos - in white background, without without shadow on base of product, with or without reflection, optimized lighting for each product or just flat it out ? How many angles per product - side views too ?

5. how may products are required to be shot per hour - 2, 3, 4, 5. 10, 20, 30, 50 ? Fair to know this so the shooter can meet your requirements.

6. does the person shooting get to use what is shot in their portfolio in case they want to do this build portfolio or for the credit seekers do they credited for the work. Do they get to keep a copy of files for what is shot. ?

7. does the shooter have to do the post production work on the images shot ? If so how long will you give them to do this - next day after shoot (shoot 8 hours edit post for the next 8 to 10 min), 2 to 3 days ???

8. If you have the correct equipment and setup space to do the job, plus the know how I advise on saving the $700 plus a month max by doing it yourself or get your kid, nephew, niece, uncle, aunt or even ah ma if she wants to ,to do it for it thereby keeping all the money within the family. Saves you the trouble to have to come back here now and then to find a shooter.
