Looking for a famous war photo of boy throwing stone posing for photographers...

Hi everyone. Im not quite sure where to post this but this is the Photojournalism forum so I thought it fitting.

I am looking for an old famous photo of an arab boy (not a man, possibly taken in 2000), throwing stones to the left of the image (I believe he is throwing it to a tank but I dont remember). He is posing while he is photographed by over 20 photographers to the right of the image. I believe it is a war photo related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

It was a very famous photo but for some reason after spending 4+ hours on google I cannot find this image. Weird, as if it was pulled from every source it was linked to.

If anyone can identify this picture, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi oeyvind, thanks for the post but that is not the picture.

The picture shows photographers on the right side and the boy is throwing to his left, more like the top left corner of the photo. It has been published in some form or another, I believe in Time, but I cannot be sure. Come to think of it, it might even be a black and white photo. But it was a war related photo, which war I cannot remember but I strongly believe it is related to the Isareli-Palestinian conflict.

I remember that picture as in 2007..this photo was dissected in one of the CS thread topic because it looked very Photoshop when you exam the shadow of the boy to the tank he was throw stones at. If you can search for it here maybe by some luck you can still find the thread and links to it. It is a stretch but you might get lucky.

I found it when I search my own conversation in that thread hehe... but the photo now that I see it contain no photographers in the shot taking a photo of the boy throwing the stones. So not I am not sure if that is the one. But here is the link to the thread and also I link the photo here as it is still at the original news site. Hope that is the one if not....happy searching.

Neither one of those is the photo that I am looking for but thanks tho. It was a famous photo taken I believe back in 2000, during the Infitadah period. For some reason I thought it was an Alex Webb photo but it is not. My guess is some corporation like Time bought exclusive rights to it and all links to it was removed.

I will have to look for a printed publication where it is featured somewhere. I will try to link it here if I ever find it.
