Looking for 2 freelance photographer on GoodFriday

Dear all,

looking for 2 freelance photographer, date at Apr 6th 2007 (GOODFRIDAY) from 1630hrs - about 1900hrs at Church of St Mary's of the Angel (WEST area)
Prefer someone who can take nice action photos. It is a stations of the cross play, with full costume. so anyone interested kindly pm or email me anthonyjovian@yahoo.com with ur portfolio.

its a stage play depicting the Passion of Christ.
the performers are clad in the roman centurion gears... etc.etc.

i guess it is 100% free labour for the church hence i guess that is why catholics are preferred as they might know the proceedings better and might be more willing to offer free services for their church.

5:00pm Service (English)
6:00pm Outdoor Stations of the Cross (English)

as i understand it, good friday service is not generally regarded as a "play".

btw, i am a catholic who usually goes to the church of st ignatius (also in the west district).

in what way?? if u think u know the proceedings well, the full rites and that u can produce quality works, jus write in la.

the preference part is only to safeguard the interest of the event organiser who might feel that a catholic might be more suited for the task as:

1). it is a free service and a fellow christian might not feel offended or 'taken advantage of' if he/she accepts the job.

2). a catholic most likely will know the proceedings and the Passion much better and thus more able to concentrate on the fotography instead of second guessing wat the next event might be or wat's gonna happen next.

the reason behind it might be like wat i've stated.

now, i would feel angry or hurt or 'watever haf u' IF the TS stated something like Skin color preference or Males preferred or females preferred.

hi all,

lets not make this into anything more than it is, anthony just stated catholic/christian photographer prefered due to the nature of the shoot, as they would know the scenario better.

if it was a shoot involving other religion's special rites, the organiser would also prefer photographers of the same religion due to the fact that the photographers would know which part of the ritual is more important and thus not miss the shot

the only fault may be he phrase it a bit off so pls do not make this into some sacred war...

pls leave anti-religion sentiments out of ur comments

the reason why a catholic is preferred is because the photographer already has an idea on what it going to happen, and thus avoiding missing important moments.

This is all i can think of. If the interested photographer is non-catholic, he needs to get a low down on the sequence of the play.
