When a video or photo is taken, the people who took it owns the copyright. Copyright also covers the right to edit the photos / videos (e.g by trimming, adjust the sound, change color tone etc). If a client request for a complete full-length video and/ or a highlight, we know that the client is going to show it as it is. For those who ask for raw footage and hand over clips taken at the end of the event, chances are that they will edit the video on their own or get someone else to do it. As such, additional charges of 'selling the rights' to the photos or videos should be in place. The same applies for photos when clients request for return of RAW files only. know your rights as a professional.
Please also take note of the time the event ends. If it is too late and the location is way off access by public transport, you will have to charge a private transport fee.
