i think rule of thirds would've made it much less of a shot.
i agree with pyeel. the very first version, with abit of tilt correction would've been perfect.

I guess there are more than one way to present this photo. I found that putting it in the center gives more attention to the patterns more than the bird like a ray of light. Geeteethree's crop is giving the bird more attention. Either way are different perspective for me.
