it's a bat fish ... sorry i cant go more specific, like, scientific name.. ;p
 

and pretty decent for first attempt :)
 

now monsoon season still can dive? how the condition over there
 

I can go home and check the scientific name if you like. Weather was great over the long weekend, seas were calm and flat, currents were mild, vis was great at some spots. Fishies and critters were all there. :thumbsup:

weather and current were very favourable for diving. it was at least sunny and calm seas throughout the weekend. ;p

It's my first time shooting underwater, still have lots to learn, especially buoyancy and composition/framing.
 

May I ask what is the cam/filter/strobe/etc u used?

I was there 2 weekends ago and experienced 1 current (short 1). Overall weather was great!

Did you manage to see turtles?

strobe, arm, tray & light --> courtesy of CSer "diver-hloc" for lending me his setup. :D

never see any turtles, weather is great/fantastic....enjoyed my first night dive too! :lovegrin:

i was the one sleeping on the hammock on dayang blues. Ikelite housing with twin inon z-240 strobes and yellow float tubings on the arms, hahahaha.... :bsmilie:

btw, is there any good fish ID and coral ID websites that I can refer to? I'm still trying to find the names of some of the pics i took, like #2,3,4,5 above.
