If you can wait, you can get it off ebay.com for at least $100 cheaper than if you get in Singapore. Same camera, but you pay $100 for the hype.

Heh, actually there's where I saw the flash too.

Hi Guys & Gals.....

I was at Sungai road again yesterday with my wife....saw some 2nd hand flash (small) units...going at $5.

I recommend...you try check out Sungai road for things like old russian cameras, small flash units, flash holder wth grip....etc.

Bargain...bargain.......


BTW: Bring 4 to 6 AA batteries when going there to try out......if can bring your camera there too......

I bought 1 flash last week at $5 and a mini tripod too.

Just sharing....

Actually I don't see the LC-A to be used as a camera for lomography-ing. That's why I rather waited to give it cheaper from ebay then get it from the lomography society. I see it as a camera that I can conveniently take around for discreet photography as it gives me control over my aperture settings and has an aperture of f2.8 for taking photos in low light conditions. I am also intrigued by it's lens that gives rich colour saturation and viginetting.

If there are times when I absolutly need a flash, why not use one? That's just my opinion of cos.

BTW sulhan, you mean any flash will work with the LC-A? I don't need to buy a compatible one?

Boy, am I late for this gathering...

Would like to use my very first post to ClubSnap by saying a warm 'Hello' to all fellow lomographers on the board

Brief intro - I'm lomo1024. Yes, owner of that ten/twentyfour project. Anybody here took part in that? Thanks to nEkOgOtCh for posting my link by the way.

The gallery for the project is still underway. I'm hoping it'll be up soon. Still waiting for all participants to submit their images to me.
