lomo for under $20 !!!!!!!!!!!

hi, just found the lomo selling under another name in Challenger, in their digitalcam/webcam section for just 17$ damn !!! I paid over 4 times the price for it !!!! grrrrrrrrrrrr

yah...i saw it too in tampines challenger...was dat de actionsampler? also juz bought a supersampler @ $45... ...

action sampler will allow u to take action shots where 4 pix will appear in one shot all different cosh each corner abt .25 sec slower than the previous one ;P

Ok. This may make me unpopular but I just have got to say it. Most of the Lomo cameras that have achieved cult status are just a bunch of shoddily made, over-hyped and exhorbitantly priced toys. The action/cybersampler has nothing to do with the Russian factory; it's made in China. QC is non-existent for this camera, and don't be surprised if your camera was a total lemon to begin with.
Here's a well-argued piece against Lomography, written by a 20 year old camera aficionado:

That said, the 4-lensed camera can be fun to play with, but unless you have lots of dough, stick to the cheaper Lomo-lookalikes. The quality is probably as good (bad?), if not, better. and my guess is that it's so unpredictable, you'll outgrow of it quickly.
