I am very taken by this camera. Does anyone know where I can get it in Singapore? I know Kino has a counter for Lomo, as does Ruby. But I don't seem to have seen the Fisheye 2 at these locations. Thank you for any pointers. :)

Woohoo!!! :) Thanks! Have you seen the condition of the FE2 copies in Basheer? I'd be interested to go look-see if they are clean. :)

Thanks for the info!

Oops. Now I know you meant FE2 = Fisheye 2, not the Nikon FE2. Coincidentally, I am also looking for this camera. :D

the lomo booth at kino and ruby should sell what. ruby confirm have stock. went there quite recently.

however you can try basheers and Objectifs. Basheers sell Fisheye 2 at very good price. got mine there.

Kino Ngee Ann no stock.
Basheer no stock.
Candy camera slow response. :nono:
Ruby got stock.

So, buying from Ruby. :)

You snooze, you lose. :nono:

So. I got the Fisheye2. 1/3 thru a roll. :)

The question is, if the subject is in the center of the attached viewfinder, will it be in the center of the developed pic? This sounds like a basic/silly question and I should know the answer, but my brain is not accepting the obvious. :dunno:

Also, is the circle cutter worth buying? Seems like it will only cut a 3R-size circle image. Too small for 4R. True?

i don think the circlular cutter is worth buyin. unless ure a huge huge huge fan of FE2 ah. heh. you can just crop it normally using scissors right? :bsmilie:

Agree with you. Use scissors better. If you really want your photos perfectly cut, I think Artfriend got better circle cutter that can adjust the size to cut.

Got my 1st roll back.

They suck. Either overexposed, underexposed or just plain crap. :nono:

Many shots look like taken with fogged lens.

Looks nothing like the Fisheye shots of traffic and cars. Those were nice and colourful.

Will try one more roll. If still 'fogged', will send back for exchange.

hmmm try shooting slides :P and shoot without looking thru the viewfinder :P just know that your subject should be right in the middle :P u'll get the surprising results :P

I think I have similar problems, I also get a black shadow at the bottom right. And some images the FE is not in the middle. Very disappointed. I developed 4 rolls since I bought it last week and 80-85% of the shots are bad.

My outdoor shots look nice tho, taken in bright bright sunlight with Kodak 400.

Heheh. My 2nd roll is still sitting inside the camera for about a month already. I wish I was as smart as you in taking a pic of my crap pix for people to analyse. :D My pix all look washed out. Faded. Also, my pix are slightly of centre. Can live with it. At least now I know the black smudge is becos of the lens housing and crap flash. So, no more flash usage for me. Mine is now loaded with Superia 200 film. Next roll will be a 400. Maybe some cheap film.

It's heartbreaking to spend money on film and developing costs only to get 80% crap. I wonder how the other pple take such nice pix.... :dunno: :dunno: :dunno: Maybe it's just me. :P

Ahhhh... You are not alone

I feel better already, don't you? Is nice to know that there is someone else out there getting the same kinda of crappy photos and feeling the pinch of the cost of developing. ;)

I digress,

I just bought 3 rolls of Fuji 200. -_-"" But I bought another 4 rolls of 400 the day before. HAd a feeling that I would need it.

Now Im justing experiment and hecking the cost. on my 5th roll.
Will source for a cheap place to develop. *My neighbourhood charges $0.30/4R*

My bright sunny day shots look pretty good, but as u mentioned as well, off centre *Grrrr*

Tell u wat, save up $40 bucks, get 2 rolls of 400 film and just go out in the sunny afternoon and shoot. Get it developed and we compare results again in a week's time.. Hahahaha

choose scanning and get expired films . cheaper (:

What is expired films? Films past their expiry date which are not of such superior quality?

Do they actually sell those? Where can I get them from?

*Anything to cut costs* :D
