Local Pentax Pricing for K5IIs (and cameras) - We need better

Thanks bro! So where do you get your lenses? Seems like TK fotos are pretty competitive in prices. Planning to get the SMC Pentax-D FA 100mm F2.8 Macro WR at $720.

I got them from buy and sell.BTW today I went in the evening to get tripod, the k5iis is not on display. Wonder If it is out of stock, never ask.

I have k30 as well.After handling both, in term of function, iq,Dynamic range, ergonomics, noise control, the k5iis is in another league. Now I only use the k30 as a back up.The k5iis even makes the kit lens looks sharp with it,because of the absent of AA filter. Nonetheless, k 30 is still a very good cam, but k5iis is another two steps futher.

In low light shooting, both are good,but the k5iis is even better.

Called usual shops like SLR-R and Manly and realized they either no longer carry Pentax bodies or do not hold ready inventory. What has happened to Pentax's sales channels?

Fellow Pentaxian can advise which retailer to turn to for good value and reliable Pentax DSLR & lens?

I called MS Color about two weeks ago. They seemed to still have K5IIs and K5II body only sets available.. But you are right, they don't have an extended range of Pentax gear.

A bit OT, in case some are looking for the following DA lenses, 50mm F1.8, 35mm F2.4, 10-17mm F3.5-4.5, and 50mm F2.8 Macro. there are now having a promotion, the price is very competitive, some are even cheaper than online marketplace.
