I don't think SAF would want to buy someone who is so injury prone. Having one such player in Louis Saha is already bad enough and buying Michael Owen would be a bad move. Image having two strikers who are out for a long stretch due to injury. Anyway, he is no longer at his peak and age is also catching up. I would rather SAF buy Huntelaar who is young and relatively cheap.

Yeah, I don't discount the possibility, so I just pray that SAF doesn't buy him or Mark Viduka as rumoured in one of the tabloids. I have never been impressed by Owen except for his blistering pace when he was at his peak at Liverpool. Now, I feel he is a shadow of his former self and Viduka is old for a striker (30?). Liverpool needs a prolific striker and two superb wingers. I notice that Liverpool have never been blessed with excellent wingers. Time to buy Nani, another Ronaldo? :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
