Rafael Benitez is fully confident Liverpool’s fortunes will take a turn for the better in 2010.
In a message to the club's supporters, Benitez said he has every confidence that results will improve and the team will be a real force to be reckoned with.
"I would like to wish all of our wonderful fans a very happy Christmas and a happy New Year.
"We know the fans are always behind us. We have to keep it going and that is the way to change things.
"I think to finish last season with 86 points was a fantastic achievement for the team.
"I have confidence that 2010 will be a good year for us. The squad is much better than people think and we showed this last year. We have to now show this again this year.
"We have had too many injuries this season but now we have players coming back which is good for us because it gives me more options and more quality.
"Torres and Gerrard are important players for us and they will be better as they improve their match fitness.
"Our aim now is the next game and three points against Wolves."

whats so sad about that team that consisted of alonso? back then we also have riise,traore,dudek...u name it...we have it all...to me alonso left...we move on...if anyone wants to support alonso,can always open a thread of him...hes just another ex-player...:think:
for all we know...if a new manager comes in,we could be winning trophies with players left behind by Rafa...:bigeyes:
