pockymouth came to park their A380 in front of their goal but good thing offensive football wins at the end of the day with a fantastic volleyball spike by papa bubba to hand us a much deserved 1-0 win. :bsmilie:
I think we'll be seeing more A380 from our opponents. Some may even come with ULCC supertanker to cover their goal:bsmilie:
he'll regret leaving LFC...when he came,we just won the big ears, now that he's left LFC will win the league...pity...same goes to owen,he went to madrid & we won the CL...:thumbsup:Crouch: Portsmouth should've beaten Liverpool
Peter Crouch insists Portsmouth should've beaten Liverpool last night.
It was frustrating to come away with nothing, sighed Crouch after the 1-0 defeat. They didnt have too many gilt-edged chances I thought the best chances belonged to us.
Papa and John both had fantastic chances and on another day, we could have nicked it 1-0.
There was some fantastic defending by us and thats what the manager said after the game. Sylvain and Younes were great at the back but we all did our jobs.
But playing so well makes it even more disappointing that we left with nothing.
It was great to come back to Anfield I really enjoyed my time here. But it would have been a lot nicer to get the win or at least a point.
Coming back gave me the chance to say some goodbyes that I didnt get to say when I left for Pompey in the summer.
Crouch played up front by himself for most of the night with Tony Adams opting to field a 4-5-1 formation.
Its harder playing up there by myself, the striker told Pompey's website. But you need to pack the midfield otherwise youre going to get overrun.
I think the tactics were spot on. It all went according to plan apart from their goal.
