many will disagree with me but i think Robbie Keane and Dirk Kuyt weren't that bad last night, apart from not scoring. They worked very hard to hassle for every ball and even alex old fogey admitted that they couldn't cope with that last night.

Masche was my man of the match but the 1st goal was kind of disappointing. But he was chasing the ball everywhere, giving his all into every tackle, running the lengh of the pitch. The winning goal was a result of his persistent effort. Alonso had a good game too.. great passing all round.

Riera had a great debut at home.. he will be the man to watch this season. We shd have gotten rid of hurry getwell long time ago.

Babel.. i think he's gonna be a supersub.. another one of those days where he comes on as a sub and scores.

aurelio not too bad last night with his runs forward.. probably feeling threatened now with Dossena in the team.

Wasted that Ngog didnt get his chance to play due to Masche's injury.
