So to sum up the day...
we lost 2 points and had it not been for Torres, it would have been 3
still dun see no ideas from our Midfield and has anyone noticed that Gerrard been slotting in nearer to our back four since he came back from injury
it is not a good way to end the day

I actually walked away when it was still 1-0 because I was already disgusted with the way we were playing. I thought we'd still win but it was just so ugly to watch. Only came back much later when heard we were 1-2. Glad we equalised but nothing to be happy about.

Why are we so damn negative? The moment we scored, sit back and try to counter. Using looong balls with no attempts to play any decent football. We did get a few chances to finish them off but it was so poor and ugly. Just got sick of watching. At Anfield! In the first half. Score once and just stopped playing........We let Spurs get into the game by giving them the ball over and over again. And Spurs wasn't even playing well at all.

We were unlucky with those goals but the team's weakness showed again. No creativity, poor movement off the ball, and we couldn't string the ball for more than 3 passes. More importantly, simply no hunger to go for the jugular. I just feel rafa is too afraid of losing and not interested enough in winning.

I think Rafa's head is getting too big. He lost is no. 2 and his ego does not allow him to look for another. He thinks he can do without one. I always liked him but lately, I just feel that he thinks he is bigger than the team. He seems to be trying to be a mourinho. His man management skills had never been his strong point. He seems to be at odds with crouch now, and I don't think he could communicate at all well with the players. Nor do I think he has it in him to coach an attacking game, at least not without Pako. He is too interested in defence and not conceeding.

It was a very poor game. We have had several very poor games already. Even good old reliable mascherano gave the ball away too often.

We should have lost, if nothing else, so that it could perhaps prompt rafa to look at himself and see where the faults lie.

i've lost abt 50% of trust in RAFA's tactics and style. 25% from the CRAP marseille game and 25% from this horigible display.
