Liverpool have completed the signing of French winger Sylvain Marveaux from Rennes, according to reports.
The 24-year-old, who has been likened to Chelsea’s Florent Malouda, has apparently agreed a pre-contract agreement with Liverpool that will see him join the Reds on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Marveaux was seen at Anfield back in December and was in talks with Sporting Director Damien Comolli about a possible switch.
“We will never see Sylvain Marveaux in the jersey of Stade Rennais again,” claimed a representive of Rennes.
Despite being injured, Marveaux has 10 goals to his name this season.
