His confidence level must have dropped further after this game. Even substituted at half time. Got a bad feeling that he may be going soon.....was quite excited when he signed for us, but really his performance in the past few months is nothing short of pure disappointment.
KD may add reinforcement in all areas other than goalkeeping department I guess. Personally, am quite disappointed that Babel is leaving. I feel he is a gem who is not given a chance to shine over the past few season. If he had played regularly, I strongly believe that he will be a tormentor of many defenders in the EPL.

and the bonus is, he shld oreadi be on the field if pepe needs to leave for any reason, so we can free up a spot on the bench for an outfielder..

I am actually referring to the 1st team squad. Frankly, if we don't settle the 1st team, buy so many backup also no use.....there have been too many "back ups" in the past 2-3 years....frankly I have not even seen some of them in action. Some go on loan for 1 year, then disappear already. :bsmilie: Goalie for the moment still can wait. Pepe should not ask for a transfer this month. At least that is what I think. So if he never say he want to leave, then the money is better spent at solving the immediate issue. Losing 10 games this season so far already is no joke man....KD got quite a number of issues to settle, and the goalkeeping department is one that he doesn't need to at this point, unless Pepe hands in a transfer request. We are not rich club like some others, so every cent needs to be spend wisely from now.
By the way, don't you guys feel that we should bring Insua back. Really puzzle me why he is sent on loan when he is playing well....and please send the Fulham guy back ASAP....I play as a center back and if I have him as my left back, my confidence will be shaken also....it is really that bad from a footballing point of view. Worst buy of 2010 :thumbsd: A few million pounds wasted yet again.

Certainly will welcome him to the club, but I was wondering whether his style of play is suitable for us. He was very good in the world cup though.

Sought-after midfielder Adam has been heavily linked with a move away from Bloomfield Road during this month's transfer window, with Aston Villa having already had two offers for the 25-year-old rejected.
Pool boss Ian Holloway previously branded Villa's failed £3.5m bid for Adam 'insulting', and it appears the Seasiders were equally unimpressed by the Reds' offer, which was similarly snubbed despite being the highest bid yet for his services.
