His confidence level must have dropped further after this game. Even substituted at half time. Got a bad feeling that he may be going soon.....was quite excited when he signed for us, but really his performance in the past few months is nothing short of pure disappointment.
KD may add reinforcement in all areas other than goalkeeping department I guess. Personally, am quite disappointed that Babel is leaving. I feel he is a gem who is not given a chance to shine over the past few season. If he had played regularly, I strongly believe that he will be a tormentor of many defenders in the EPL.
where haev u been?
we are trying to sign a backup goalie..
and the bonus is, he shld oreadi be on the field if pepe needs to leave for any reason, so we can free up a spot on the bench for an outfielder..
but ajax is asking a lot of dosh for him.. :bsmilie:
never quite understand wny inusa mux go in the 1st place! :bsmilie:By the way, don't you guys feel that we should bring Insua back. Really puzzle me why he is sent on loan when he is playing well....and please send the Fulham guy back ASAP....I play as a center back and if I have him as my left back, my confidence will be shaken also....it is really that bad from a footballing point of view. Worst buy of 2010 :thumbsd: A few million pounds wasted yet again.
Edit add note: Another person whom I personally feel is not good enough for the team right now is the Argentina "winger" who can't fly. I wonder whether he will even have the chance to make it to our rivals' reserve bench, yet he is in the starting 11 for the past few games.....that's how weak we are currently. Positives from the past few games: Lucas seems to be playing better now.
Cheesecake said:Honda has been considering his future at CSKA Moscow after it emerged in 2010 that the club were considering cashing in on either Alan Dzagoev or the Japanese international, with Honda angling for a move to Europe with Arsenal, Liverpool, and AC Milan the confirmed suitors following an impressive World Cup.
The 24-year-old CSKA Moscow striker has been subject of intense speculation since his successful World Cup campaign with Japan although thus far no formal bids have been launched, with only interest confirmed by a number of clubs. However the player’s future looks finally set to be decided by next week.
The Japanese international started his career at Gamba Osaka, the same club as former Arsenal player Junichi Inamoto, before moving onto Nagoya Grampus Eight, the club from whom Arsene Wenger joined the Gunners in 1996.
Honda was one of the first players I bought (iPhone FM 2010) and he became one of the best in the squad.Hopefully we will land him and he will perform well like in my game! :bsmilie: And then can earn more $ from merchandise and match tickets like how Perugia earn so much cos of Nakata! :bsmilie:

Certainly will welcome him to the club, but I was wondering whether his style of play is suitable for us. He was very good in the world cup though.

and fio had a 5million pound or so bid on the table.
dunno too much abt his style, but he seems a "im a big shot" kinda player..
dun give him ball, he will TL at u..
but maybe we do lack a player who wants the ball and willing to run thru the other guy to make things happen, now that stevie is getting too injury prone for it
