PSV Eindhoven forward Ola Toivonen has played down reports linking him with a move to Liverpool in the January transfer window.
The Reds have held a long-term interest in Toivonen having made enquiries for the Swede during the summer transfer window.
It has been suggested they could make a new move for the 24-year-old to add to their attacking options when the transfer window reopens in the New Year, but Toivonen expects to stay in Holland.
"I am set to set stay at PSV. We're losing Afellay (to Barcelona) and I have no plans to leave," Toivonen told Aftonbladet.
"I know that there are clubs looking at every game so rumours are something that I have to live with."
Asked if he felt a move away from PSV in the summer was more likely, Toivonen said: "I don't know. The most important is that I get to play every game like I do now and play in a team that has the chance to win the league.
"It would be fun to get a gold with PSV. We have a perfect harmony in the club."

Liverpool are believed to be on alert after Joan Capdevila's contract talks with Villarreal broke down, according to reports from the English media.
The Mirror remarks that the Spain international is looking for a two-year contract extension, but the Primera Division outfit are hesitant to hand the 32-year-old a deal that lasts over 12 months.
Capdevila's contract expires next summer, and with the Yellow Submarines seemingly unwilling to meet his demands, it is thought that the World Cup winner could be in line to make a Bosman transfer to the Premier League.

Ryan Babel has broken his silence on life under Rafael Benitez by claiming the former Liverpool manager stopped him from taking part in additional training.
Benitez fined Babel two weeks' wages, believed to be £60,000, last season following an outburst on Twitter over his omission from the squad that travelled to Stoke City in January but resisted any temptations to offload the maligned Holland international in the transfer window.
Babel turned to Twitter again as he lifted the lid on his three years under the Spaniard, now at Inter Milan, and alleged that sessions at the club's Melwood base were not entirely rigorous and pleaded with his then manager to undertake additional training but was forbidden.
The winger, who has made just 10 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season, also revealed that he would train in secret in a bid to continue his development at Anfield but was ordered by one of Benitez's assistants to stop practising.
He said: "I wasn't allowed to train extra under our former manager, even when I wasn't involved.
"I begged lots of times but it was simply not allowed and during the season you don't train very hard because you have lots games, so most sessions we had were without sweating.
"But if I wanted to do some extra, which I asked for every single day, I didn't have permission.
"It was confusing because of course you want to get better. I even tried to train extra by doing it secretly, but the assistant manager came to tell me to stop.
"And I had to get used to that because at Ajax we were staying for up to two hours longer on the pitch by ourselves. That was an amazing time with [Klaas-Jan] Huntelaar, [Wesley] Sneijder and Edgar Davids."

Daniel Agger is set to hand Liverpool a major injury boost by returning to action next month.
The Denmark international has not featured for Liverpool since the 2-2 draw with Sunderland in September.
Agger picked up a calf injury on international duty last month and Reds boss Roy Hodgson feared the defender faced a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, Agger is making good progress on his fitness and Liverpool's Head of Sports Science, Dr Peter Brukner, is optimistic the centre-back will be fit for the hectic festive period.
"Daniel's injury is an unusual one," said Brukner.
"In the international game a month ago, he got a kick on the calf, and sometimes when that happens you get some calcification in the blood clot that forms there, and unfortunately that has happened in Daniel's case.
"It's just taken a lot longer than you would expect for something like that. The calcification, once it appears, takes about a month to dissolve and fully recover.
"Daniel has probably got another three weeks before he is back playing. It's a very disappointing and frustrating situation but there's not a lot we can do about it.
"Only time heals this sort of injury, so we just have to be patient with Daniel. But he'll definitely be back before Christmas."
