Where got the same. Only this season we spent close to 50m pound. With the money bag at his disposal, Moanrinho spent close to 400m pound since he took over Chel$ki. Over the three season, we didn't even spent close to 100m pound for new players. It's just that this year, the money bag decided that enough is enough and did not gave him a budget otherwise Moanrinho would spend like no tomorrow. See the difference?

We only bought Carrick last season and we won the title. Compare that to Chel$ki which paid so much and ended up as runners-up. Well, it's get harder and harder each season to maintain it, let alone improve your position the next season. No way that any club's position will remain the same comes the next season if they don't buy newer players and if the players remains the same, the only way the position is going to head southward. Nobody will sit on their laurel just because they have done well and also not forgetting that players get older by the year and you need to inject need blood. Financially, except the Russian money bag, the three teams i.e. ManU, Liverpool and ManU are about the same. It's just that how the management look at it and apportion the budget- servicing of bank loans, new stadium, new players, etc. Less the blues, the 3 clubs are considered rich by premier league standard but at the end of the day, the quality and quantity of players to sign depends to a large extend on the budget given by the owner. ManU is also deeply in debt since the yankee owners took a massive loan to finance the purchase. It's more of a calculated risk by splashing so much hoping to recoup them should the club do better in the coming seasons with the new players. There is no guarantee of success. Just look at the blues. They spent obscene amount and still the CL title is beyond their reach. Leeds is another good example; spending obscene amount and today they are languishing in 3rd Div???? Sometimes not spending a lot may not be a bad thing.

spending is necessary. but the new signings must also deliver the goods, like berbatov.

so with all the new signings this season, should be no problem for u guys to win the quadruple.

if oni Rafa can sign him!!!!! :sweatsm:

If there are no new signings then Rafa has to fully utilise his pool of players.

As long as they Concentrate, Keep It Tight  they should able to keep cllean sheets.
