SINGAPORE : The FAS Disciplinary Committee has banned Noh Alam Shah for 12 months from playing in all FAS-sanctioned matches and tournaments.
A S$2,000 fine was also slapped on the 27-year-old striker.
The Tampines Rovers player acted violently towards SAF FC's Daniel Bennett when their teams met in the finals of the RHB Singapore Cup on November 25th.
In the 93rd minute of that match, Alam Shah tackled Bennett, and used his knee to hit the defender's face followed by a kick to his body.
The Tampines striker was also aggressive towards match referee Abas Daud and FAS photographer Aundry Gan.
Alam Shah accepted the charges and his ban will take immediate effect while the fine is payable within 14 days.
