The central importance of the Kop has also been recognised with a hugely increased capacity to 18,000 seats in a single tier stand.
SING SING SING!!!!
Hope to watch a live game there in my life time man....:dunno:
When I last visited Anfield, I was feeling like a small kid going to the play ground so excited ! Didnt get a chance to do the stadium tour though, it was fully book even its off season... weekday... afternoon...;( Was told to book on the web site 2weeks - 4weeks in advance.
The Trophy is a must go, everything is there including the "Big 5" Champion League Trophy
 can't they jus squeeeze u in on one of the tour??
its more than him as a good defender! its psychological warfare! put one over the opponent!
the next thing we know, rafa go and bid for robben and van Persie. hahahaha
Cannot bash LFC but can bash other teams :bsmilie:
Can not leh, got a few tour in the afternoon all full, next day also....but I am happy for them good to see so many Liverpool fans young and old hahaha LFC very strong =D
Been to other stadium before not so much people, worst is Inter and AC Milan stadium only 3 of us in the tour :sweatsm: Trophy room also disappointing to think that AC have 6 Champion League and Inter, who care how many, I only saw 1 there. Very run down compared to the English team Trophy room.
van Persie ; that will really be cool
robben? i think Rafa got better things to do
:bsmilie::bsmilie: power la!!!!that's our fave activity when there is no LFC news to discuss.
we welcome fans from any team to come join us when we do that.
Some of the fave teams that frequently feature on the bash list:
(in no order of merit)
- Newcastle
- MU
- che$ki
- real mama
- bananalona
- eh similan
:bsmilie:
zai la!!!Nice new stadium sia! Very different from others. The corners a bit wasted though, can cram in more seats, more moolah![]()
Pretty exciting season so far. Some great new players and a great new stadium. Let's hope this would turn out to be THE year!
Still think we need some cover at the back. Hope our scouts had been watching the FIFA under-20 world cup and that we'll pick up a few promising players. Some exciting attacking talents like Bruno gama as well would be a nice addition to the team.
Anyway, credit to the Yanks. They delivered on their promise so far. Good to see also that we managed to release quite a few players for decent returns unlike the past seasons. Is Diao still around? Hope not.........
Now it's up to Rafa and his team. Saw the South China match and clearly he'd have a lot to do still. Granted, the newbies are not in but I expected better. We were very much a one dimensional and one pace team for most parts of last season. Even against a team like South China we were very conservative, sat back and didn't look too interested in winning. This lack of winning mentality and being content with being level or a single goal up cost us last season. And when we moved forward, still lacking in ideas and movement into space. But definitely improved still. Sissoko and Alonso at least do push up sometimes so the forwards are less isolated. And I feel the team often plays at too slow a pace and do not vary the pace. Often the players take too many touches of the ball before passing, allowing defenders to close down. And we still lack flair, which is very important in breaking down a deep lying, packed defence. Perhaps Torres..... Also very impressed with Voronin, Agger (great build-up and movement for his goal)and Alonso. Pennant too, though he still needs to work on his delivery. Still often too "floaty" and rushed. But had some nice crosses still.
Still, it's early days and we did show some nice touches. Here's to the new season. YNWA!
