isn't it time already for the board to make some announcement?? ;)
who's next>?

in fact, I am very much looking forward for this coming weekend, not because of the EUro2004. I dun support any European team, but rather the announcement of the new Liverpool Manager.

Rick Parry made a note that 2 weeks ago, a new manager will be announced by end of this week.

Anyway, for me it is already so obvious, anyone but Benitez would be a big surprise to me.

surely you will support gerrard and owen in euro2004..

its confirmed benni is coming? sekali liverpool shock us again..

No, I dun. I dun support them when they put on england shirt. I am not fans of any English player.

I only support LFC.

but the players make the club mah..
ok ok...point taken.
;)

i supoort Singapore too... :embrass:

whats there to be shy about?
I support Singapore too..but that doesnt mean I cannot lament about the local soccer scene... :(

A lot of signing rumours on liverpoolfc.tv. Latest one is that they are looking Olivier Dacourt.
Who would you love to see wearing the red carlberg jersey?
Would love to see a good playmaker to complement Gerrard. Either Aimar or van der Vaart would be heaven!
And a good defender. Hyypia is a great defender and is rock solid but he's not really a good game reader and it would be great to have someone like Mexes to complement him.
Right winger...let's face it, I like Murphy but he's not a right winger. Nor is playing Kewell there a good decision. Joaquin of Betis would be brilliant for me :)

and let's give some youngsters a chance. Warnock, Partridge, Mellor, etc. And bring in some more young bloods. Routledge and Dawson maybe?

kekekke, ok...its all rosy and we are on course for world cup 2010!

I would love to see someone in the mould of Aimar come. Murphy has been too inconsistent, we need someone else with flair in liverpool. Our midfield needs that i feel. Hopefully someone who is not injury proned.

LFC is to hold a press conference at 2.30pm GMT later today to unveil our next manager! :D

Rafa Rafa Rafa!!

Benni benni benni benni!

 let's see what changes will be implemented now...

Reds admit Gerrard fears

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has revealed that Steven Gerrard could be about to walk away from the club.

The England midfielder has been linked with a big-money move to Chelsea - but this is the first time Liverpool have confirmed he is considering his future.
But Parry hopes the arrival of Rafael Benitez as Anfield manager will persuade Gerrard to stay on Merseyside.
"I spoke to him three weeks ago and it was clear he was not happy. He was down and wants success," Parry said.
Benitez was unveiled as Liverpool manager on Wednesday - and one of his first tasks in the new job will be to convince the 24-year-old Gerrard that he can win trophies if he stays at the club.
"Hopefully the appointment of Rafa Benitez as our new manager will swing things our way with Stevie," Parry said.
"Realistically, players have to be happy and we can't force anybody to stay at the club against their wishes, but there is no way that we want to sell him and we sincerely hope that he stays."
Press reports in recent days have claimed Chelsea want to bring Gerrard to Stamford Bridge for £30m - and are ready to make him the best-paid player in the Premiership.
But Parry insisted: "It isn't about money with Stevie.
"Medals are more important to him and he told me that he doesn't want to be here at 35 having not won anything.
"Finishing fourth in the Premiership is not an achievement in his eyes but we are with him on that."
Parry remains hopeful that the arrival of Benitez - who won a number of trophies at Valencia - as successor to the sacked Gerard Houllier will send the right signals to Gerrard.
"The next priority is for me and Rafa to meet and try to persuade Stevie that his future is at this club," Parry added.
"We will do everything we can to persuade him that his future lies here, but we are not complacent."
Benitez too is well aware of the need to keep the star midfielder.
"Steven is from Liverpool and the club is in his heart," the Spaniard said. "His spirit is here, but I want to tell him how important he is to us."

we have a new manager....Thaksin proposal is not settled...Owen hold on his signature...Gerrard wants to leave... :dunno:

:( stevie's leaving?
i think he will stay for a season and see how things work out.
