Microsoft Image Composite Editor (ICE) just got updated to v2.x and it has this autocomplete feature. I gave it a run with this 2 frame pano. The top left and right ends are "autocompleted" - the editor "created" it based on the nearest matching area. The bottom left and right areas are not good so I had to cut it off.

Last shot before I sell the lens. It's a very good lens, very sharp at portrait range and very creamy bokeh. But I seldom use it as I need AF because I usually need to hold on to one of my kids to shoot.
