I think it's hard to see this kind of lightning in SG. I was like OMG when I downloaded the pic never seen such lightning in my life before.

It took from far so the lightning end may block by the tall building and make it look like the lightning came from the ground..

i think the lightning forks are all concentrated already as it closes in, that why it seems to be coming from earth!
if lightning comes from earth, wha scary....

so far i only got 1 of the pretty similar capture. and yes, its from SG
