Light leaks?

Folks,

Shot a whole roll of Fuji ISO800 films and noticed all shots have purpish line vertically across the frame. I didn't upload the obvious pics but I've got this shot taken in daylight and the line persists but whitish line when shot in daylight.

Take a look at the middle boy with blue pants. Around the pants area, you can see a white streaks.

dave, I don't think so. Could be uneven plate pressure again due to film guage. Light leaks look like spilt water and should be unpredictable due to light travel and the angle of your alleged leak to the light if indeed it were a light leak. This seems too even? Scratching and stretching maybe?

I agree with Dan, this is not a light leak but I am afraid I can't tell what it is either.

Could it be a scanning problem? Have you tried rescanning the neg, or use a loupe to examine the neg to see if the white stripe is there?

Thanks all. I've checked the negatives and it showed up there on all pics. I also think it could be bad developing. I didn't do at my usual Konota yesterday.

I did a torchlight check on my M6 in the dark. Noticed that the joint where the cloth shutter are linked together, I can see light penetrating through when I shine the torch. It could also be a case of sticky shutter???

Do note that this is the first time I've encountered this on my M6 though. It has worked fine so far and I am loving it.

Estimated cost if need to replace shutter?

By the way, when I shoot indoor, the streaks will show up as purple color. They will appear in various side of the photos but they did appear in all my shots. Some of them were from the wedding last Sat. Good thing I used my M8 mainly.

Here's another shots. Look at the right hand side.

Dan,
Btw, this is the Topcor 50 f2.0! Don't you just love the sharpness and bokeh on this baby? ;-)

Haha... I am sure it will be another poison but I've stopped subscribing to poison already my friend.

Btw, I am hoping this is really just bad development. Even my MF shots has this dark yellowish stain on the righthand side. Some you can even see some dark lines vertically down.

Also, guess who dropped by the Barrage that evening? It was a pleasure seeing him with my whole family and I managed to get a pic of him upclose. Cool stuff

if it happens to another roll, then maybe really light leak. It looks like the film is not loaded properly (i.e. uneven to the film plane).

tested a new roll at all shutter speed. No light leaks so this is either a bad roll of negatives or bad processing.
