If you want access, you have to be prepared to work for it. Contacting the organisation's media officer/pr agency/network with the right people ect. Alternatively you could just do what I do most of the time, shoot as a spectator or try your luck at the smaller scale events like national shool sports or national tournaments. I was able to shoot courtside during the Li Ning Youth International 09 without a pass. For now you might want to try your luck at the Temasya Badminton Pilot Pen Cup.

Well for the smaller events, if you ask the correct person you just might be allowed court side. If you are free on the finals just go and try your luck, the smaller events should be easier to get access
