like it or not, when the toffees play well, they look pretty good. not bad at all for a side destined for a relegation battle when the season began. solid but unspectacular. gets the job done and they have no fear playing away either.

we need to learn from them. if we can incorporate the never say die spirit and organisation, and with our better players, we could do a whole lot better than we are now.
