A good manager with no $ to spend is bad. Look at Keegan, he's a good manager. He produce results when he was at Newcastle, now at Man City the best result he got was winning Chelsea 1-0. :bsmilie:

well, there will be exceptions.

everton for example. no money, but still had a fine run.

probably a combination of factors like motivated players (and perhaps playing with confidence as there is no pressure on them to excel), could also be a good manager, coach etc?

and of course, a sprinkling of luck at times too to get them to where they are.
