Er this is a liverpool thread right? What would happen in real life if you are a ManU supporter and walk into a room full of liverpool supporters? I can't imagine man... I think the same goes the other way round.

Anyway, names calling is very common in real life...

I am sure there are ManU fans who call Liverpool clubs or the players by names....

Maybe ManU supporters should start their own thread as well...

Precisely, it's ppl like them who spoilt the good name of the clubs. When u get into name calling, it never ends. What next? Flaming, talk arrogantly, etc. Sigh.... the modern generation of supporters are just too vocal and, though not that it's not good for the club, many a times they just get carried away and start to bad-mouth others. Like what I said earlier, if u don't respect others, u don't deserve to be respected.

dun worry... at old trafford, anything less than a win against the riches of chelski is a great sin!!! lo and behold!

its more than a match to reach the finals at cardiff, u know it.
its about bragging rights with both fergie and jose.

not to mention the passing of the baton.. from manutd to chelski? or arsenal for that matter...

manutd, i feel, just need to win. its all psychological. isn;t it?

Yeah, it has got alot of psychological impact from the bragging of both SAF and Jose, like u said, and also proving a point that Chelsea is not untouchable and can be beaten if u play ur cards correctly.

Hey, maybe I should get my friend, a longtime Liverpool supporter, to join the forum and join u guys to talk about ur beloved club. This guy's knowledge of Liverpool is second to none - its history, teams in the past, the great players, important goals scored in finals, etc. He is one of the founding members of the Liverpool supporters' club in Sg and, I am sure, u guys will gain alot from chatting with him here. Yeah, it has got alot of psychological impact from the bragging of both SAF and Jose, like u said, and also proving a point that Chelsea is not untouchable and can be beaten if u play ur cards correctly.

But this is not FA cup.... Would SAF risk his first 11? Besides, i think Chelsea will win cos they have very good form right now and they have quality players.

I find it diffcult to see the winning score in the side of ManU though i do hate the fact that Chealsea keeps on winning in every of their matches....

for your info, i have never called man u, manure and many of us did not too. always repected them as a good team even if i don't agree with some of SAF's mind games. but what you said antagonised all of us.

we never pretended that we are championship material. if you like to talk football, please feel free to join us but let's not pick fights with one another. and we LFC fans will promise we play nice to.

used to be that in the malaysian cup, the rivalries between singapore and malaysian teams especially the likes of selangor were really something. you can say a lot about the s-league but supporting your team against it's "arch-rival" 3 mrt stations away is not the same feeling :dunno:

(in an ideal world) then each and every (deluded) supporter can sing all the praises they want without having their bubble burst by supporters of other teams...

BUT

this is NOT an ideal world, so even if man utd started their own thread, i'm sure there'll be people going in there to talk bad about man utd.

for a real life example! see the nikon and canon threads...

sometimes even simple and innocent discussions about equipments can lead to a blow out war regarding brands!

so, even if we have separate threads for each and every team, if people don't change, things won't change!
