think you echoed every liverpool supporter's inner feeling. we all are rooting for the team to get that champions league spot but of course, deep down, it kinda hurts that we are not challenging for the title.
liverpool these days is like a marathon runner that is too far from the leading pack to catch up and is constantly looking over our shoulders cos we can hear the footsteps of the pack behind us closing in...not a nice feeling at all.

or maybe...we're all suffering from PMS :)

maybe i am just suffering from PMS... =*(
i'm really feeling low though...

funny. too busy with work work work. argh!!!

anyway was at liverpool's website and there was this article on putting things in perspective and why we shouldn't get down.

"we lost a match. no one died."

http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N147508050117-1151.htm

No one died. Liverpool only lost a match. Arsenal also lost a match. No one died. :nono:

its not juussst a match . :nono: ..... its Man.U vs Liverpool ..or......Liverpool vs Man.U... theeeee... biggest match in this part of the world

Diao has been loaned out!! wahaha!

Brave Birmingham has taken the plunge!!

now, waiting for Dudek to finally move away from Anfield... ;)

Well... if diao is going on loan... it's good for liverpool and also chance for some youngster to break thru.

Btw, Rafa is trying to persuade Scott Carson to liverpool from Leeds. To quote him, Rafa says:"Chelsea has a good young goalkeeper, if i am carson, i will join liverpool"

So i guess he speaks his mind abt Kirkland... Young but no good?

think kirkland is too injury prone and it is limiting his talent and potential to be realised.

reminds me of Rob Jones from yester-year! :(

the future is now, in case Kirkland din't realise it...
and Dudek... ahem...

wht me being quiet in the last few days in this thread ? normally I will be the one who make most noise...??

just being discharged from hospital...I vomitted 3-4 liter of blood saturday night around 9.15pm when Dudek dived to catch wind.

Look at the official http://skysports.planetfootball.com/list.asp?hlid=249995&cpid=8 of the match....

Liverpool vs MU
0 Goals 1
3 Shots on target ( Inc Goals ) 1
9 Shots off Target (inc woodwork) 4
4 Blocked Shots 0
9 Corners Won 4
13 Total Fouls Conceded 28
1 Offsides 3
2 Yellow Cards 3
0 Red Cards 1
49% Possession 51%

we had so many freekicks, so many corners, but little of those look threatening..Is the team praciting setpieces anymore under Rafa ??

We have doubled the number shots on and off target , but we lost..Deja...vu ?? yes...we had the similiar situation few weeks ago against Chelsea..

Dudek's commet of "I was unlucky"...is again the joke of the year.

He even said that "But the ball moved and I couldn't do anything about that."
Fine..then u move...we will get someone who can do something about that.

I have not even eased the entire pain with forlan scoring against us..and now he did everton a favor..what the heck.. ;(

What a lousy result , it's as good as losing to a s-league club. That is how I feel, anyway, we need a new keeper to replace Dudek. He has caused a few errors in our major games and this should be the last straw. What a weakest link he is.

when I saw the line up..I spoke to my friend that the weakest link is our LB _ Traore..but indeed the clown that day is Dudek..<sigh>...although every one deserve 2nd chance..but he simply made too much mistake too frequent.

I agree that a draw is a fair result.. MU gang was fighting the ball more hungry and aggressive than us...they interrupt our flow/attack by never-fear-of yellow card attitude and tackle..Wonder why we are so sissy and not fight back with stronger physical contact (beside Gerrard)...

MU gang on that day have won the match with dudek error, strong spirit and well organised defense..If I were to pick 1 player from MU to Liverpool, it has to be Hienz. Damn good defender. and He is very experience to lauch a tackle on Morientes (it should be a penalty) but look not so dangerous to referee. he slide-in, trapped Morientes leg so he could not fall..and heinz tap away the ball..before Moreintes could finally fell down. but then, the ball was kicked away...it made it look like a legitamate challenge...

btw...did anyone watch Bolton vs Arsenal ? I wrote my comment on this thread about Diouf weeks ago..and now I bring out this matter again.

Match Commentator on him - Diouf is very lively, he is everywhere threatening Arsenal defese.

www.4thegame.com - Diouf, the game's most dangerous attacker, Man of the Match: El Hadji Diouf - Created the winner for Giannakopoulos and tormented the champions throughout to ensure that Bolton pulled off a minor shock.

he had been performing superb lately with Bolton, not to forget he single-handled a victory for Bolton in the Fa Cup 3rd round. and had been scoring and creating assist on goal very consistently with Bolton.

If Dudek deserve his 3rd chance after his error given to Forlan and Dudek, why Diouf is not desrved for only a 2nd chance ?

I really wish to see him playing for Liverpool on the right flank now.

Look at what we have currently ...

Nunze and Garica
1) Both proven they are not good to play for his country.
2) Both proven they sat in the bench more than playing as first eleven in their previous club before joining Liverpool
3) Both proven they are not good (Garcia as average, Nunez way below average) player with benitez.

Diouof
1) good to play for his country, and twice African player of the year.
2) Proven that he is still good at football..shown his quality with bolton.
3) proven he was not good to play for Liverpool under Houllier.

What is missing here ? A chance for him to play under Benitez ?

LFC could let go Diao to Birmingham CIty at 1.5m because we bought him at 5m. A write off 3.5m.

But LFC did not want to let go Diouf at 0.5m (offer by Bolton) and to write off 9.5m. If that is the case....I would rather have him back to the squad.
He is really on fire now. Although he is still spitting, but he dived less..and seldom wasted opportunity.Indeed, he creates the opportunity.

I have to eat back my words, becasue I also tot that he is nothing but a peice of rubbish player....May be he is good..Houllier made the right decision to sign him but Houllier style had made Diouf sucked.

What do u guys think ?

i simply think that DIouf is trying to prove his doubters wrong by performing in every game.

bolton, with all due respect, is but a 'launching pad' for Diouf to rebuild his once faltering career.
i think his ultimate aim is to return to Liverpool and play in the starting line-up every week.

haha! if only it is as what i've described!

p.s. stop spitting!! heeeeheee

cheers to a good week ahead!
