Sometimes I really want to scream at Garcia... his style just doesnt suit the premiership, doesnt it? We got two old men in the centre of defence... and aging hamann and an off colour gerrard sitting in midfield... in effective attacking midfielders in Riise and Garcia...
Baros and Nando might as well have a yellow box and have a smoke...

This is madness.... really bad... even this team would lose to Burnley...

i wouldn't blame only pellegrino. he didn't play well and made some terrible mistakes. but look at the whole team. the midfield was non-existent and this would actually put the pressure on the defence. we created no chances and we're constantly on the receiving end of attacks. the whole team is at fault.

what worries me is that i don't see us finding the goals to come back unless something drastic happens.

we depend too much on gerrard. when he plays badly, the whole team plays badly. this is not right.

southampton wanted the win more than we did. it's not the first time. we always find it hard to win against determined opposition. this game exposes our lack of creativity. put five guys across the middle and we ran out of ideas. that the diff between a class team and an average side. we lacked the self-belief and probably the ability to win. once the other team played well and if we get hit by early goals, we fold.....just not good enough.
