hi ckbekeong, ibitemynails and cheesecake

haha...i went to watch a DVD and returned to find out that 3 of you had talked so much...:bsmilie: i read thru all your communications and hehehe..really funny.

ok good night all of you. good night all liverpool fans.

yeah good morning!

alonso's broken ankle should sideline him till next season. :(

alonso out for 6 weeks. when are we gonna get some luck? it's one thing after the other.....
hopefully rafa will give biscan or one of the youngsters like potter or welsh a chance to shine. but not DIAO please!!! he irritates me not because he's not good enough (btw, he's not) but because he doesn't even try!
here's to a good showing last night and hope they'll get all 3 points against norwich.

A disappointed Rafael Benitez says Liverpool will be without the services of midfield playmaker Xabi Alonso for five to six weeks with a broken ankle sustained in the 1-0 defeat by Chelsea.
It is a massive blow for Liverpool and the player who has settled into Premiership life well at Anfield.

Benitez said: "Unfortunately we have lost Xabi for five to six weeks and it is a big blow for us."

When asked after the game if the injury to Alonso will mean he will be searching for a replacement in January Benitez was keeping his cards close to his chest.

Benitez said: "We will see. At this moment I am only concentrating on the next game which is Norwich. We have a good squad so we have players who can come into midfield."

okie....
very OT...
but i was just hoping to fish for some sympathy.. heh..

i just came back after an hour's wait at the doctor's because... he said i had ear infection...

=*(

had painful ear last night and this morning and finally i couldn't take it anymore...

Luckless Liverpool. Defended well, but a lousy deflected goal to lose to. Also, I do not know why Mike Riley did not give the penalty when Tiago handled the ball. If it was Nunez which had push Tiago, then it would have been a free kick for Chelsea.

One yellow card for Lampard but Alonso out for 6 weeks. Who is there left? Diao??? I wish Diao will be sold in Jan 05 transfer window.

btw, is the game with Norwich at 8pm tomorrow evening? anyone??

Norwich vs Liverpool match will be shown "LIVE" on SCV CH23 at 830pm.

As for our striker crisis now turned into striker cum midfield crisis, i hope it doesn't come to a full striker cum midfield cum defense crisis.

and supporters crisis... heh

out of curiousity, which teams do you think that more singaporeans support??

Liverpool fans - those who started to watch football during the 70-80s
Manure fans - those grew up in the 90s when media starting to play a big part in football

Liverpool and Everton are indeed the friendliest of all derby because of the close proximity.

I once heard that those who lived there watches Liverpool when they play at home and then they will go to watch Everton at home when Liverpool is playing away matches.

it would be most wise to say that most Singaporeans are Manure fans..
then followed by Liverpool, yeah!!

then Arsenal gooners.

no statistics to prove it but i believe most soccer fans started watching soccer during the 'boom' of the media coverage of which happens to be the rise of Man Utd and the decline of Liverpool...

most Liverpool fans are from the 70s to the 80s period where we ruled the roost back then. and most of us, i believe are still living in that period. haha

soon, there'll be a group of rising Chelski supporters group. perhaps most of them are funded by Abramovich. hahaha!

why don't we declare when we started supporting Liverpool?

For me, it was the FA Cup Semi Final between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool in 1988 that started in all!!

My all time favourite is JOHN BARNES!!!!!

hmm...

my friend's an arsenal fan... and he was ranting once that he was quite pissed that a lot of people declare themselves arsenal fans ONLY after arsenal won the premiership last season..
so will we "suddenly" see an influx of chelsea fans if they win the premiership this year?

hmm.. so can i say that liverpool fans are usually older foggies? heh...

i for once am not an old foggy! at least i hope i am not..

did you guys watch Singapore vs Myammar??

I think it is a joke!! 11 vs 8 and there may be some more sending offs!!??? Its like a boxing ring out there!!!
