of course...

we need big bucks for him....

but next year onwards got the homegrown thingy....

we did earn quite a fair bit this season, surprisingly, from our unbelievable progress in the CL League.

some 20million quid? or is it 30million quid?

would come in handy this May, June, July period.

we need a good and reliable GK.
dudek can go. sickbag kirkland can go.
scott carson should stay.

we need a good midfielder.
igor's leaving and so too is hamann(back to bayern munich?). that is a shame.

baros should be leaving for his dream move to valencia. i hop ehe fetches at least 10million quid.
perhaps we can get another striker.

yup

taste still in the mouth...

bad taste....

my all time favourite striker, of whom i can easily identify with, is Robbie Fowler. too bad he fell into bad company and fall wayside to the lures of big $$ and fast cars and equally fast gals.

the trappings of $$..

i wondered if he kept himself fit and on track, would he be the best striker in the world, now?

stan collymore is another. he is simply WOW back then. but this guy's got a short fuse for gals... saddening.

i thought jamie carragher looks like jim carrey!

i remember jamie very well... Liverpool came over to Singapore some 3seasons ago to play a friendly in the National Stadium.

i was seated very near to the field and jamie's just so near(during warm-up) and the gals around me screamed and shouted at his every touch of the ball..

however, not once did he turn around to acknowledge our presence...

kinda... disappointed back then.
he must be very focused on the game with the all star team from Singapore's S-League... right? :D
