birmingham won by playing like the great passing liverpool sides of old.

this game do remind me of the southampton massacre of the reds.

disgusting, may i add, that we somehow failed to match their zest and passion for this game. what are the players thinking of? CNY celebrations??

they wanted the win more than us, i feel. look at their line-ups! how many names were instantly 'superstar' players??

HESKEY?! MELCHIOT?! TEBILY?! or even Cunnigham?! :(

that's really sad. so angry the whole night. the first half performance was a joke. :thumbsd:

so too was the second half. must improve tremendously in the next game. just when i thought that everton was within reach. oh, i can't believe it. i'm saying that everton's within reach?! :embrass:

Birmingham deserves the win... I wonder what's Rafa thinking in 1st half by playing Biscan when he played so badly in the previous game.

ALl liverpool players played badly and all birmingham players played well.... How often you see that? sigh....

wat Rafa said: "I don't know if this is our worst performance of the season but it is certainly one of them. Our problem is we are not consistent. We won our last three games and had confidence then we play Birmingham and not one player played well."

luckily he spotted that. i'm worry that he's blind and can't see anything wrong with the team at all

dudek wasn't too bad i thought... and he was quick thinking enough towards the end of the match to avoid an even more embarrasing scoreline.

You watched the match?
Ya man. The whole team dunno whats going on, even when they're 1 nil down. Dun understand the meaning of the word 'attack'. :) Lack of ideas and attacking instinct.

You know what the Everton fans are saying? Rafael beneath-us! :bsmilie: Sorry to say but the jokes are on Liverpool these days. Even punters are backing Liverpool's opponents to win when the odds are small.

Yes, i think he was one of the better performing players last night.

i saw both the chelsea match and birmingham match as i was at a pub.
when chealsea won i was elated as i thought that this would be the best opportunity to play catch-up.
BUT.
it was not meant to be.

hang in there bro, you need to be strong. they may give u another few more heart attacks!

*touch wood, touch wood* :bsmilie:

next match against bayer leverkusen
i guess it's a vain hope but i wish we can do well in the champions league.

is it just me or the team just lacks spirit and self-belief, not to mention class? even if we make it to the 4th placing by the end of the season, we do not deserve it. everton and boro performed above themselves this season and fully deserve to be in europe for their spirit and hard-work. we performed way below expectation, injuries or not. if we finish 4th, it was because everton and boro lost it, not because we won it.
i guess i'll say now what most liverpool fans would say nearing this time of the season...oh well, maybe next season.

still, let's hear it for the team.

............
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone.......
You'll never walk alone.
